About Us

We are Open Road West Norfolk, a King’s Lynn-based modern, well-equipped automotive workshop and construction training facility that helps students who may have been left behind by mainstream education. We pride ourselves on being a safe place of learning that is both fun and exciting. The attraction of motor vehicles and practical construction skills are used to capture young people’s attention and interest. At Open Road we drive a culture of hard work, where application, positive attitude and teamwork are acknowledged and rewarded, ultimately leading students to industry-recognised qualifications.

We are an IMI and BTEC registered centre offering qualifications in transport maintenance, plus construction industry training, predominantly for young people aged 14-16, and those at risk of exclusion.
